Dear Friends

I found MYSTAT one of the free statistical packages from the house of SYSTAT.
I am using it for teaching Marketing Research to my students. I've made some videos for them.
I am sharing the same here: https://youtu.be/jxb4dihqUNA

Dear Friends

I realized that I've not provided you the context of starting working on another software. Let me apprise you about the background.

Recently we've purchased Systat 13.0 - 10 user software in the Department of Business Administration, NIT Kurukshetra. This software is spreadsheet-based and very similar to SPSS and other software packages.

Just to make people aware about this software, Systat company provides a free version of this software with the name MYSTATSince this software MYSTAT is free, we've installed it in all PCs of our MBA Lab. So, now we've 10 PCs with SYSTAT 13.0 Full version and all PC with MYSTAT.

MYSTAT and SYSTAT are almost identical to their user interface, calculations etc. MYSTAT is a free software so there are some limitations.

These software MYSTAT & SYSTAT are very easy to learn and contains almost all tool/techniques required by MBA Students/ Research Scholars and Faculty members.

Mystat Includes Univariate Analysis, Bi-variate analysis, All hypothesis tests, Correlation/Regression, Factor analysis, Cluster analysis, Discriminant Analysis and even Times Series Analysis.

SYSTAT contains these are all other possible Multi-variate analysis (MDS, Conjoint analysis, MANOVA, Mixed Models, Quality Analysis, Survival Analysis, Path Analysis, Perceptual Mapping, Quality Analysis including CFA & SEM.

Inline image 2
Inline image 3

In both of these softwares you can open almost all files (made in Excel, SPSS, SAS, Stata etc)
Inline image 4

You can download MYSTAT from https://systatsoftware.com/downloads/download-mystat/ by filling the form.

SYSTAT 30 days Trial is available at https://systatsoftware.com/downloads/download-systat/

MYSTAT is particularly useful for Institutes/colleges struggling with finance to maintain computer lab with latest software packages.

Dear Friends

While making the videos for the playlist of MYSTAT, I was in a fix about how much I shd discuss the Regression coz I feel I've already discussed it in detail.

So I revisited my Regression playlist and found that this playlist is helpful for the curious kids, who wish to know what's happening at the back end of calculations but many videos may not interest those who wish to just apply regression and report it. Actually, there is no video on how to report Regression results.

So I made a file Reporting Regression results (I shared it in another post yesterday).
I tried to explain the essential regression concepts once again (This time using MYSTAT):

Systat-11 Simple Linear Regressionhttps://youtu.be/Qub-0_Gawks
Systat-12 Multiple Linear Regressionhttps://youtu.be/d0JybjfkLZ8
Systat-13 Stepwise Regression Methodhttps://youtu.be/HKPqNTelZT0

The data files and the pdf file on Reporting Regression Results are given at the bottom of the videos.

Plz feel free to ask for any/every doubt.

Best wishes
