Hello everyone,
I have a query related to Osgood's semantic differential scale. My question is- What is the statistical treatment for Osgood's semantic differential scale?
For example,
Positive 5---4---3---2---1 Negative
Beautiful 5---4---3---2---1 Ugly

Thank You,
Subhankar Banerjee

Dear SB
We dnt apply any technique just on the basis of the type of questions.
Plz share ur objs for which you used Semantic Differential Scale questions.
Best wishes

Sir,
Objective of this particular study is to study the Difference in visual attractiveness and perceived pleasure of Product A and B by the consumers.
(visual attractiveness and perceived pleasure will be measure by using  Semantic differential scale.)

Dear SB
Plz generate a score of visual attractiveness and perceived pleasure by whatever method is given along with this Semantic differential scale and then use that as DV and Product Choice: A / B as IDV for the t-test.
Best wishes
