Respected Neeraj sir and group members 

As per Fiss(2011) paper, we can add 0.001 to the conditions to avoid ambiguity of crossover point i.e 0.5. Are we supposed to add this constant to cases with 0.5 value only or the whole cases of that variable. Secondly, we need to make this adjustment for outcome variable also?

You shd add the 0.001 constant only to the cases with a 0.5 value, not to the whole variable.
Secondly, you need to make this adjustment for the outcome variable as well if it contains a 0.5 value.
