I'm Libny, a research scholar working in the area of Gender studies at NIT Warangal. While working on a research objective on glass ceiling and workplace outcomes, I found difficulty in addressing convergent validity issues.

What can be done for a specific latent variable when AVE is below 0.5 even after deleting items with low loadings? When I started deleting further items, AVE improved slightly but Alpha and CR are dropping below 0.5.

I'm unable to figure out. Reliability and Discriminant validity issues are not there.

The AVE is around 0.47, 0.496, 0.430 for 3 constructs whose reliability (CR and Alpha) are above 0.7 in my study. These constructs are important in my model.
