Dear sir and group members,

In path analysis, mostly standardized estimates are reported.

But while computing specific indirect effect through estimands in Mediation, it's gives unstandardized estimates for a particular indirect path.

Is there any way to get standardized specific indirect effect.

Or we should report standardized estimates for path analysis and unstandardized for direct, indirect and specific indirect effect for mediation.

How to report estimates in mediation?

Please enlighten.

Dear Sarita

AMOS does provide the standardized indirect effect. Plz see the following screenshots:

Go to Analysis Properties-> Output-> Click on Standardized estimates as well as Indirect, direct and total effect

2. Again in the Analysis Properties-> Click on Bootstrap and click on Perform Bootstrap (GIve a large no here) as well as Bias Corrected confidence intervals (make it 95)

3. Close this window and Run
4. In the Output, click on Estimates-> Matrices and here you'll find all standardized (direct, indirect and total effects).

Best wishes

Thankyou sir,

Sir, what if we have two or more parallel mediators and we want to calculate standardized specific indirect effect through estimands.

Using  estimands in AMOS we get only unstd values of estimates
