You're a senior designer with experience in information design, data experience and UX for dataviz-heavy applications. You know data visualization principles, but you aren't necessarily the person that makes them. You know that it's not a fancy chart that has impact, it's a well-crafted experience that does it. You've tackled UI/UX problems with internal or customer-facing applications (like BI tools) and know that it's a very different space than developing UI/UX for general purpose applications. You want to have a chance to innovate in the field and implement best practices (both in the UI and behind the scenes) that currently only exist in bespoke or academic applications. You want to work at a startup with an amazing team and a great culture that values data visualization as a top-level priority.

We're Noteable, a remote-first startup that's developing a new approach to enabling data-driven teams in the notebook space. We're foregrounding data visualization in our product while still ensuring that we build the best notebook application around. We think notebooks are the perfect medium to enable collaboration, analysis and exploration. We've crafted a culture where you'll be treated like the experienced, well-rounded, capable adult you are with the freedom to explore groundbreaking new ideas and cutting-edge technologies without first asking permission.

Let's chat about how we can give you the opportunity to refine and develop the best way to work with data.
