Overwhelming support for you: many of your day-to-day concerns are widely shared within communities, countries and the globe. Yet, you often find yourself disconnected and powerless with your best initiatives, and your problems.
There is a new technology. A small team of talented professionals struggles to develop a "Citizens Network" in a world where profit is king and flashy proposals conceal breakthrough ideas.
Powered by the Avaaz community (+25M members), Citizens Network goes beyond the capacity of Facebook and Twitter to connect us all in a cooperative action network, where 'digital' is only a means and you & your trusted circle of people are the real focus.
You will feel others' overwhelming support and achieve united action from a position of power.

This is not properly a job, as our budget is very limited. We are looking for qualified website developers that may want to join our team
http://movementforsustainability.com/CN/CNteam.html
and contribute to this new technology that was first conceived at CERN.

At present, we are considering this toolkit in order to develop our prototype website:
Backend: node.js / python
Database: mysql / postgresql / nosql (graph oriented?)
Frontend: html+javascript+jquery
Visual frontend: d3.js / InfoVis
Specifically, the type of visualization that we are considering:
http://academic.research.microsoft.com/VisualExplorer
--> click on the proposed person, to see his/her visual network

Interested developers, with (all or part of) this skill set are very welcomed to contact me at
