full-time or contract-to-hire designer with data visualization experience. We are looking to hire someone with a passion for hard problems to join our team of world-class researchers and engineers. AI2 is tackling hard problems in the field to make a significant impact on Artifical Inteligence. As a data visualization expert you will work shoulder-to-shoulder with great scientists and
engineers to expose our cutting-edge technologies. You will have the opportunity to make a large impact all across our small company by exposing our products in Natural Language Processing, Maching Learning, semantic search, and vision.
Paul Allen recently launched AI2 under the leadership of Oren Etzioni, a Seattle area entreprenear and long-time University of Washington professor. AI2 is modeled after the successful Allen Institute of Brain Science and has a startup atmosphere to encourage innovation from below.
Our brand-new offices are located near Gasworks park, in Fremont, Seattle--right on Lake Union and the Burke Gilman trail. We are building a star team, both in talent and personality. We have a great work environment--we're presently ordering kayaks so we can get out on the lake!
Some of the primary technologies we use are Scala, AngularJS, and D3.
