Do What’s Next! – Visualize (Big) Data in the World of Design & Engineering
Autodesk is leveraging cutting-edge machine learning and data science to help our customers imagine, design & create a better world. You can help!
You will work with a fun and dynamic team creating advanced technologies to develop high-impact, beautiful, and useful visualizations of machine learning results in the context of our Design Graph project. You will develop visualization tools that provide insight into the results of specific algorithms such as: co-occurrence meta-patterns; cluster detection in higher dimensional spaces; aggregate usage patterns; etc. This project requires a strong pairing of both visual & information design as well as data science. And wicked smarts!
Who’s a fit:
- A successful candidate should be either a senior undergraduate or grad-student studying Data Visualization
- Academic Majors should be : Data Science, Data Visualization, Information Science, Visual User Experience
- Excellent collaboration skills, attention to detail, ability to quickly synthesize feedback
- Stellar visual communication abilities.
- Practical knowledge of D3.js, Javascript, and Python would be very beneficial.
- User Experience Design, especially wth visual, motion & color theory emphasis, is highly desired
- Position is in San Francisco, CA.
