Responsibilities

The following are the responsibilities for Sr Web Developer.

·     Enhance our existing Visual Analytics capability

·     Build connectors to cloud applications via APIs

·     Build the next generation visualization libraries in D3.js/HTML5

·     Responsive design for visualization on the Mobile

 

Qualifications

·   3 to 5 + years’ experience in highly scalable cloud based applications with rich user interfaces 

·   Perform hands-on development and coding of application components, UI controls, APIs  

·   Strong understanding of Cross Browser Rendering Issues

·   Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS for Layouts with a keen eye for design

·   Hands-on object oriented programming in Java, Java Script , AJAX,  HTML5 and CSS

·   Working knowledge of d3.js highly desirable

·   Proficient with JSON, XML and RESTful web services

·   Knowledge of Node.JS will be a plus

·   Proficient with the DOM and asynchronous event-programming model

·   Strong OO design skills with good coding discipline

·   Working knowledge of relational database especially MySQL 

·   Comfortable in a fast-paced, highly dynamic, rapidly growing environment

·   Familiarity with mobile web development (HTML5, touch events, responsive design)

·   Background in Analytics, Data Visualization or Business Intelligence highly preferred

·   Self starter with a startup DNA

·   Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) would be a plus

 

This is a contract to hire position based in Sunnyvale, CA.
