Nike Sustainability Business & Innovation (SB&I) group is tasked with addressing impacts throughout the Nike Supply chain to build a sustainable business and create value for Nike and our stakeholders by decoupling profitable growth from constrained resources. With this vision in mind SB&I pursues a path of continuous innovation in products and processes –this is managed through robust portfolio of projects. To this end SB&I is looking to source a Reporting Manager to raise transparency within the portfolio and drive informed decision making.
The Reporting Manager works with Director of SB&I operations to provide critical cross-portfolio view of efforts in the division. The Reporting Manager is expected to lead / participate in the implementation of best practice processes, tools and procedures that allow for timely, complete and accurate reporting of portfolio performance.
In addition, the reporting manager will work with multiple stakeholders to accurately collect information re: project performance on a regular basis - with the goal to install stable and predictable reporting processes. The reporting manager will leverage visual techniques, tools and best practices to present the data to facilitate efficient decision making by senior management.
The reporting manager will also continuously improve and streamline the overall reporting processes - this will include report automation - in order to reduce the data reporting burden on the project teams, while increasing the reliability of reported data and improving the quality of information derived from the data.
This is long term contract position, with possibility of a full time job if client expectations are met.
Key Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in the field of automated reporting
- Proven experience in reporting and/or auditing
- Strong IT development background and technical skills, Former BI experience a plus
- Expert level usage of: Excel (including VBA macros), PowerPoint, Tableau Desktop and Server
- Expert with HTML, Java , prior experience with data visualization java libraries like D3.js a plus
- Experience with R and add on Java libraries would be a plus
- Ability to understand non-homogenous data, data structures and databases
- Excellent facility with numbers, graphing tools and techniques
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills
- Self-starter and ability to multi-task while performing a variety of complex tasks
- Detailed and results oriented and able to work in a high paced, fast changing environment
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high intensity environment while producing high quality results
- Prior experience with SharePoint would be a plus, but not essential
- Previous experience with Hype and High Charts would be a plus, but not essential
- Demonstrate understanding of concepts around project management
- Excellent presentation development skills
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
The interview process will include an assessment of technical skills, in addition to a behavioral assessment for team fit.
