Hi folks,

The DataFace is looking for a data viz developer to join our growing agency! You'll help concept, prototype, and build data visualizations and websites for our clients.

As a data viz developer, you'll need both technical expertise and design sensibilities. Your main focus will be concepting, prototyping, and building data visualizations and websites for The DataFace's clients. You should be comfortable creating viz with D3.js and have plenty of experience with web development. You're creative, passionate about data, and eager to learn new technologies.

Essential Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of D3.js and data viz best practices
  • Strong frontend coding skills and some familiarity with a Javascript framework (like Svelte)
  • Experience building and deploying websites and web applications
  • Basic data analysis skills using Python, R, Tableau, or a similar tool
  • A keen eye for design, particularly as it pertains to data viz
  • Ability to manage a fast-paced environment where you’ll juggle multiple projects at once

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of no-code tools like Webflow or Bubble
  • Experience working in an agency environment
  • Strong writing skills and a sixth-sense for storytelling
