(Release) Stepped Configuration

tl;dr - You can now create stepped & dynamic connector configurations!

 

The Data Studio team is excited to announce a new developer feature for community connectors. Connectors can provide dynamic responses to getConfig based on user-provided answers. For example, you can now populate a "City" dropdown after a "State" dropdown is selected.

This change is fully compatible with the existing connectors specification so this is not a breaking change. Connectors can continue to return the same config response as before, however many connectors with complex configurations can now be simplified.
