Hi all,

To get a rough idea of how much space we'll need at the jsm, could you
please let me know if you are planning on submitting a poster/entry to
the competition? The JSM is in Washington DC, August 1-6.

Thanks,

Hadley

Hadley,

I might, depending on the deadline. I can't find anything on
submission on the stat-expo site, though.

Hi Robert,

I think the deadline is around February, but you just need to submit a
title and an abstract, and there's no real pressure for your final
version to match your submitted title and abstract. I'll post more
information once I get the poster session into the schedule.

I'm planning on submitting if I have time to get something done on it!

Hadley

I plan to submit a poster for the competition.

What's the latest info on deadlines?

Thanks

When responding to this message, please do NOT RESPOND TO ALL.  I personally do not need to know who is presenting a poster at JSM, and have a hard enough time getting through my 65 new email messages every morning.

Hi vgp14,

I had accidentally left the mailing list-wide reply setting on its
default, which was to automatically reply to the whole group. I've
changed it now so it's easier for people to reply to just the author.
However, you might want to learn about the filtering capabilities of
your email software so that you can better manage incoming mail.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for all your responses. I received a total of 10 responses, so
I'll plan accordingly. I'll get back to you all soon with more
details about deadlines and so on.

Regards,

Hadley

Oops, I haven't been following. I'm going to take a stab at this - if
the deadline isn't too fast approaching and it's not too late.
