Hi everyone,

If you're interested in competing in the data expo 2009, please go to
http://www.amstat.org/meetings/JSM/2009/index.cfm?fuseaction=abstracts
and submit an online abstract to a topic contributed poster session,
choose "Graphics, visualisation", as your topic and the section on
Statistical Graphics as the sponsor. Please also make sure to put
"Data expo" at the start of the title so I can ensure your abstract
ends up in the right place.

The deadline has crept up on me - it's Feb 2, but the good news is you
just need a title and an abstract. If you're not sure you'll have
something ready or not, please submit an abstract anyway. The
abstract doesn't need to have any relationship to the eventual poster,
and it's much easier to pull out than to decide you want to take part
later on.

I'll add these instructions to the website shortly.

Regards,

Hadley

And I should say to put me (Hadley Wickham, had...@rice.edu) as the organiser.

Thanks!
