Colleagues,

Greetings from African Centre for Media Excellence (ACME) and the Data.UG team,

Over the next 24 months, ACME is host at least 8 data user events and 3 data journalism training courses. You are welcome to apply any and all. We can take about 12 at a time. RSVP for the first of these events; a data clinic scheduled for Saturday 4 February, 2017. It's a day-long deep dive in which participants will:
  • Crunch results data going back to 2010
  • Compare results data with other data sets on student learning and teacher performance
  • Generate story ideas beyond the gender divide and rural vs. urban schools
  • Experiment with data visualisations like mapping and interactive charts.
Further information about the clinic and a short application form are available at our website - http://acme-ug.org

Questions? Email: lnam...@acme-ug.org.
