Budget data cleaning & visualization:
Do you know how much Uganda spends on a yearly basis and where this money goes to? No? You should! Come help us clean up spreadsheets, visualize them and upload them to https://openspending.org/ for everyone to see!
This is the data set we're going to use:

I have the pleasure to introduce some great speakers:
- Lydia Namubiru: journalist, writer and researcher. Critical and to the point. From the perspective of her job as Programme Officer at the African Centre for Media Excellence (AMCE) she'll give us indepth information about PDF scraping regarding budget information.
- Warren Nyamugasira & Bernard Sabiti: Warren is an economist and development activist, while also being a member of the Uganda Open Development steering committee. Bernard is a Governance analyst at Development, Research and Training (DRT). They'll give us a clearer insight about budgets, how budgets actually work and some working examples.

Hope to see you all the 27th!
