Is Coding Really Necessary to Start an IT Career in 2026?

Hi everyone,

I keep seeing two opinions everywhere:

“Coding is a must to enter IT”
“You can start without coding (Cloud, Data Centers, VDI roles)”

This is really confusing for beginners like us.

So I wanted to ask:

• Is coding truly mandatory for freshers?

• Are there real job roles where coding is NOT required?

• If yes, what skills should we focus on instead?
