time.akamai.com service - notice of deprecation of support for insecure TLS ciphers

Please note that due to security concerns, the time service located at https://time.akamai.com will no longer support TLS connections below version 1.2 after December 2^nd, 2024. Connections using TLS 1.2 and greater will continue to function as normal.

 

During the warning period leading up to December 2nd, a custom response header will be included in insecure requests to the time service, of the form:

 

X-Akamai-TLS-Version-Support: Starting on 2 December 2024, TLS connections below 1.2 will be denied and your client will no longer work with this service. Please contact your vendor to support TLS 1.2 or higher.

 

Users of the time service are strongly advised to validate their clients ahead of this deprecation date.
