Announcement: Version 1.7.0 of livesim2 with Annex I support

Hi all,

Since DASH-IF livesim2 is a test tool used by dash.js, Daniel Silhavy and I agreed that I can send relevant updates about livesim2 on this mailing list.

One of the new features in the dash.js 5.0 Release Candidate is basic support for “Annex I – Flexible Insertion of URL Parameters”.
That was also included in the latest version of livesim2, v1.7.0, two weeks ago.

Note that its “/urlgen” player is the latest stable version of dash.js that is 4.7.4.

There is a test version of livesim2 that uses the nightly (5.0 track) build that provides the player out of the box.
That is on the less stable address:
