It's Us PureDarwin Devs again ;-) We're having issues with "IOATA scan for drives" happening with a kext at boot and we've tried everything we could think of to fix it by selecting different BIO's/UEFI options with Qemu. Below is our output with debug enabled on all kexts that we have patched/built we're looking for anything that could possibly stoping us. Boot-uuid-media is found and so is the chipset we're emulating as well in PCI Configuration Begin/End.

Debug prints first
"Command returned 0"
"IOATA scan for drives failed"
Then 
"IOPCIATA: super::start()failed"

Then just says "still waiting for Root Device"

If anyone has any ideas we'd appreciate the help. If that's us filing bug-reports until our eyes pop out for sources that we might be missing or get some help some we've gotten the standard Apple Response.

I have screenshots and Image for those that would like to help.
