This is the newsletter for spring, and
as it is the first one of 2012, I would like to thank everyone that
helped us sharing our informations with their guests and friends last
year. We are a growing group of turism operators that
offer different nature activities, and divulgation and advertising is
getting more and more work. But – the more people we are, the more
options for really special combinations of activities, places and
services we face at! If we succeed
with our ideas, that we want to share with you this year, we might be
able start an agency, in order to propose a stable menu of routes, that
might help us all to make our region even more interesting for our
visitors – and for us!
We are greatfull for any suggestions, and if
you like our way – please spread our news, tell your guests about the
routes on the website, and „share“ our activities!

The small canoeing trip on rio Mira ...
… is possible from
Saturday,
3rd of March in the morning, until Monday, 11th, in the afternoon.
And between Friday, the 16th, and Tuesday, the 27th.
The half-day tour takes you into the interior: With the last tide current you paddle from Odemira upstream and turn back into the small town when the current starts to come back.
This route is suitable also for beginners and families with small children:
You decide on the way whether you want turn back soon or continue until the river becomes too narrow to go any further.
Duration: 3 - 5 h
Price: 15 € / Person, children pay half price
The large Canoe Tour at Rio
Mira
From the delta to Odemira there are two daily routes, recommended only upstream, since the often strong wind carries the boats then with itself.
The canoeing time is more or less the same on any of the routes. Leaving from Casa Branca or Milfontes just includes time for transport of canoes and cars.
The second route from Casa Branca (close to São Luís) to Odemira are offered to special prices on Thursdays.
Duration: 4 - 5 h
Price every Thursday:
25 € / person, children pay half price.

...are offered in the closer and further surroundings of the Rio Mira. The botanic specialist explaines in Portuguese or English the ecological connections and refers to traditional uses of the plants.
The walks touch all alentejan habitats: cliffs and dunes, river
banks and salt marshes, mediterranean forests and montado.
Price every Wednesday:

6h: 25 € / person
Minimum four participants, children pay half price.
In addition to all walks you may order a lunch or picnic.
horse riding into the Serra de Cercal
From São Luís into the closer environment, a circular way shows you the alentejan landscape from a new point of view.
Either a guided beginner ride or an accompanied trip for riders with experience.
Duration: 1 1/2 h
Price: 30 € / person
Beach Ride
Beginners and advancers take a secure ride through the dunes of Malhão and reach the beach with a spektacular view.
Duration : about 2 1/2 h
Price: 40 € / person
Full moon on horseback
A ride into a wild valley, which appears in the moon light like a magic landscape, enjoy noises and smells of the night - a celebration for the senses!
Only riders with something experience can participate in this trip.
This month it can be realized around the
8th of March.

Meeting is in São Teotónio, at 21:00

Dies ist unser Frühlings - Newsletter, und da es auch der Erste des Jahres 2012 ist, möchte ich mich bei Allen bedanken, die uns letztes Jahr geholfen haben, unsere Aktivitäten bekannt zu machen.
Wir sind eine wachsende Gruppe von Touranbietern, die die unterschiedlichsten Natur - Ausflüge anbieten, die Verbreitung und Werbung werden immer mehr Arbeit.... aber: je mehr wir sind, desto mehr Möglichkeiten eröffnen sich uns, um ganz besondere Kombinationen von Aktivitäten, Orten und Fortbewegungsmitteln anzubieten.
Wenn in diesem Jahr unsere Ideen erfolgreich sind, können wir eine Agentur gründen, die dauerhaft ein Menü von Aktivitäten präsentieren kann und damit einen Beitrag leisten wird, diese Region für unsere Gäste - und uns - noch attraktiver zu machen.
Jegliche Vorschläge sind wilkommen, und ich bitte Alle, denen unsere Idee gefällt, unseren Newsletter zu verbreiten, ihren Gästen und Freunden von unseren Routen zu erzählen und unsere Aktionen zu teilen.

Die kleine Kanutour auf dem Rio Mira ...
... führt Sie ins Landesinnere: Mit der letzten Flutströmung paddeln Sie von Odemira aus flußauf und kehren bei einsetzender Ebbe wieder zurück ins Städtchen.
Diese Tour eignet sich auch für Anfänger und Familien mit kleinen Kindern: Sie entscheiden unterwegs, ob Sie eine kleine Runde drehen wollen oder erst umkehren, wenn der Fluss zu schmal zum Weiterfahren wird.
Die Fahrten sind möglich zwischen dem 3.
3. und 11.3.,
sowie den 16.3. und 27.3.
Dauer: 3 - 5 h
Preis: 15 € / Person, Kinder (5-15 J.) zahlen die Hälfte.

Die große Kanutour auf dem Rio
Mira
Donnerstags bieten wir die zweite Etappe der Kanutouren, von Casa Branca (bei São Luís) nach Odemira zu einem Gruppenpreis an.
Preis
jeden Donnerstag: 25 € / Person,
Kinder (5-15 J.) zahlen die Hälfte.
Wir planen ein Oster-Picknick am Fluss - bei Interesse bitte melden!
...werden in der näheren und weiteren Umgebung des Rio Mira angeboten. Die
Botanik-Spezialistin erklärt auf portugiesisch oder englisch ökologische Zusammenhänge und weist auf traditionelle Nutzungen der Pflanzen hin.
Dabei geht durch alle alentejanischen Lebensräume: Klippen und Dünen, Flußufer und Salzmarschen, mediterrane Wälder und Haine.
Preis am Mittwoch:

6 h 25 € / Person
Mindest-Teilnehmerzahl ist vier, Kinder zahlen die Hälfte.
Zu allen Wanderungen können Sie sich ein Lunchpaket oder Picknick bestellen.
Reiten in der Serra de Cercal
Ob zu einem geführten Anfänger-Ritt oder einem begleiteten Ausflug geht es von São Luís aus in die nähere Umgebung, auf einem Rundweg lernen Sie alentejanische Landschaft aus einem neuen Blickwinkel kennen.

Strandritt
Anfänger und Fortgeschrittene reiten sicher durch die Dünen von Malhão und erreichen den Strand mit spektakulärer Aussicht.

Vollmondnacht im Sattel der Pferde
Wir reiten in ein wildes Tal, das im Mondlicht wie eine magische
Landschaft erscheint, genießen Geräusche und Gerüche der Nacht - Ein
Fest für die Sinne!
Nur Reiter mit etwas Erfahrung können an diesem Ausflug teilnehmen.
Diese nächtlichen Reitwanderungen sind das nächste Mal um den 8. März herum möglich

Olá - esta é a newsletter da primavera e também a primeira deste ano de 2012. Gostaria de agradecer a todos os que nos ajudaram a divulgar as nossas actividades junto dos vossos clientes e amigos, no ano passado.
Somos um grupo de operadores turísticos que oferecem diversas actividades na natureza, a sua divulgação e publicidade está a tornar-se uma tarefa complicada, mais vamos continuar, porque quanto mais somos, maior é a oferta e diversidade de actividades, lugares e serviços que podemos fornecer.
Se tivermos sucesso com os projectos e ideias que queremos partilhar convosco este ano, teremos a possibilidade de constituir uma agência, de modo a poder fornecer de forma mais estável e consistente uma maior e melhor quantidade de rotas e actividades. O que, certamente, ajudará a tornar mais interessante e apelativa a nossa região para os nossos visitantes - assim como para nós também.

o canoagem curto no Rio Mira ...
… toma-o no interior: Com a última corrente da maré remam de Odemira rio acima e volta á cidade quando a corrente começa voltar.
Esta rota é apropriada igualmente para novatos e famílias com crianças pequenas: decidem no passeio se querem fazer uma pequena volta ou continuar até que o rio se torne demasiado estreito para ir mais.
Proximamente, estes passeios são feitos entre
sábado, die 3.3. e segunda-feira, 11.3., e também desde sexta-feira,
16.3. e terça-feira, 27.3.

Os passeios grandes no Rio Mira
Do delta a Odemira há duas rotas diárias, recomendado sobretudo rio acima, desde que o vento então carrega os barcos consigo.
Nas quinta-feiras oferecemos a rota da Casa Branca (perto do São Luís) a Odemira para um preço especial:

Preço nas quinta-feiras:
25 € /pessoa, crianças pagam metade de preço.
Estamos a planear um piquenique de páscoa na margem do rio - se

... são oferecidos nos arredores do Rio Mira. A especialista em botânica explica em português ou inglês as interrelaçoes ecológicas e refere de usos tradicionais das plantas.
As caminhadas tocam todos os habitats alentejanas: dunas e falésias, vales e ribeiras, sapais, florestas mediterrâneas e montados.
Preços nas quarta-feiras:

Passeio equestre na Serra de Cercal
Um passeio circular acompanhado desde São Luís aos arredores da vila mostra a paisagem alentejana desde um novo ponto de vista.

Montem cavalos num vale selvagem, que apareçe ao luar uma paisagem mágica, para apreciar os sons e cheiros da noite - uma festa para os sentidos!
