Westad is Professor of International History, LSE and an expert on the history

We are coming to the local school year end and Junior Achievement Singapore has a number of upcoming volunteering opportunities to teach classes in schools. We need lots of volunteers in October and November. We generally partner 2 volunteers per class. Training and all course materials are provided. Public Markets is a team within the Investment Group that provides in-house equity derivatives structuring expertise (including equity-linked instruments / convertible bonds). We are looking for a self-motivated team player with excellent communication and quantitative skills. The position will provide an opportunity to gain hands-on knowledge about a broad range of equity derivative products and markets, and an in depth view of Temasek’s investment/divestment executions via derivatives. The small team of 2 means the candidate will be given a broad range of tasks and responsibilities. Candidate must have basic knowledge of derivative products, be quantitatively inclined and interested in the markets. Proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint are required, and VBA skills would be useful.
Responsibilities:
· Liaise with investment banks for pricing requests and critically evaluating the responses
