Alasdair Roberts is the Jerome L. Rappaport Professor of Law and Public Policy at Suolk University Law School. He is a Fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration and a public member of the Administrative Conference of the United States. His books include Blacked Out: Government Secrecy in the Information Age (Cambridge University Press) and e End of Protest: How Free Market Capitalism Learned to Control Dissent (Cornell University Press, 2013). He is also co-editor of the journal Governance.

He was Florida finance chair for President Obama and a trustee of the inaugural committee in 2009 and 2013. Junior Achievement is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating students from Kindergarten to JC/Poly level on entrepreneurship, work-readiness and financial literacy. All courses are offered free of charge and are taught by volunteers from the business world.
