We are honored this year to have Mr. Simon Kahn, Chief Marketing Officer, Asia-Pacific, of Google, grace our annual dinner. Previously, he worked at American Express for thirteen years, serving as Country Manager for Singapore from 2008 to 2011. He has been on the Board of Governors of the American Chamber of Commerce – Singapore for three years and was Chairman for two years. Earlier, Simon worked in the White House Liaison office of the Department of State. Simon is multi-lingual. He holds a BA in Asian Studies from Swarthmore College, a Masters degree in Chinese Studies from the University of Michigan, and ultimately an MBA from Michigan. Simon will discuss various aspects of doing business in Asia, and will be open to questions following his talk.

We are coming to the local school year end and Junior Achievement Singapore has a number of upcoming volunteering opportunities to teach classes in schools.  We need lots of volunteers in November.  We generally partner 2 volunteers per class.  Volunteer training and all course materials are provided.  The course is very activity-based.  Please see attached for list of classes for November.
