GSoC 2026 - Introduction

Hello,

My name is Samuel Climent and I would like to participate with the Dart organization in Google Summer of Code 2026.

I have been studying programming for three years and this will be my fourth. During this time, I have learned several programming languages, but the one I have worked with the most is Flutter/Dart. I used this technology during my internship to develop a mobile application for a company, which also served as my final project for my higher vocational degree. I currently have over two years of practical experience.

In addition to Flutter/Dart, I also have experience with Java, Git, Python, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL and Firebase. However, my strongest skills are in Java, Flutter/Dart and SQL.

Regarding my education, I completed a Higher Vocational Degree in Multiplatform Application Development (DAM) at CIP Batoi FP in Alcoy, Spain. I am currently in my second year of the degree in Industrial Computer Engineering and Robotics at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Alcoy campus.

I am especially interested in the TestGen - LLM-based Test Generation Tool project and the Dart TUI Framework project, with a stronger focus on the Dart TUI Framework. I find the idea of creating a TUI for Dart very interesting and I would be glad to participate in this project. I believe I could contribute positively while also gaining the opportunity to learn and work alongside the team behind the language I study.
