Dear Flutter Mentors,

I'm Rakshita N Dallinakeri, a 2nd year Computer Science student who loves building apps with Flutter and Dart who has a strong interest in mobile application development and open-source software. I am writing to express my interest in contributing to the Flutter/Dart organization as a prospective participant in Google Summer of Code 2026.

I have been exploring Flutter and Dart through hands-on projects and by reviewing previous GSoC project ideas related to improving developer tooling and application performance. I deeply appreciate the organization’s focus on clean architecture, scalability, and community-driven development.

I am currently strengthening my understanding of Flutter’s widget system, state management, and Dart language internals, and I am eager to begin contributing meaningfully to the codebase. I would be grateful for any guidance on suitable repositories, beginner-friendly issues, or recommended contribution pathways for new contributors.

Thank you for your time and for maintaining such a well-structured and impactful open-source ecosystem. I look forward to the opportunity to learn from and contribute to the Flutter/Dart community.
