Hello,

In the TLS LiDAR mode, I wanted to employ different laser sources at different positions so that I can create an array of laser sources. For example, in a 4x4 array, I want to have 16 different laser sources illuminating the environment. Does the DART software allow me to do that?

Hi,

Basically, you can run DART several times by setting up different locations. You only waste a bit of time in loading the simulated scene each time.
This can also be achieved by using the DART sequencer if the same sensor configuration is used.
After running DART, you can label the source of lidar data by loading different files for each simulation.
Let us know if you have any other questions.

Hello,

I ran one of the simulations and I could see that the pulse.txt file saves Energy of pulse vs time and convolved_wave files save photons vs time. To compare all of these files I wanted them to be across same quantities. Also, the time given is ground time and not absolute time. Hence, is there a way I can get:
1. LIDAR_CONVOLVED_wave_1stOrder.txt and LIDAR_CONVOLVED_wave.txt in Energy vs Absolute time format
2. pulse.txt in Energy vs Absolute time format

Best regards,

I was able to export the required data. I right-clicked on the waveform and saved the image points as .csv.
