Dear DART Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am currently using DART to simulate land surface temperature for validation purposes. To begin learning the software, I am trying to run the WP0 example. However, when I open this example, a pop-up message appears indicating that the example is not compatible with my version of DART.

I have verified that the example version matches the DART software I have installed (Version 5.11.0, released on 2025/12/12, v1456). Could you please advise why this pop-up appears and how I might resolve this issue?

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Best regards,
Gao Jinran

Dear Gao Jinran,

Thanks for your message.

Where did you download WP0.zip? Recently, we had a problem with our DART web site.  We are sorry for this inconvenience.  Therefore, we advise scientists to download DART, the DART User Manual, and work packages (WP0, etc.) on: https://sdrive.cnrs.fr/s/t9fWMnqC5QHAeW3

Note that the mthod to install and use DART is explained in the section "VII. Work packages (WPs)" of the DART User Manual.

Please let us know if you continue to have the problem. If so, please snd us a screen copy that shows the folders where DART is installed. Do not forget that:
- DART must be installed in a folder different from that where you unzip the zip file (e.g., DART_5-11-0_2025-12-19_v1457_windows64.zip for Windows)
- DART simulations  must be in the folder DART\user_data\simulations

Best regards

DART Team
