Status of Core Frameworks

Is there any way to see the current status of Core framework progress? I'm mainly looking for CoreAudio, CoreVideo, and IOSurface. Can I just copy these from an existing installation of OS X? If so, which version should I use (10.12, 10.13)?

Hi,

sorry, no, there is no such overview right now.

Neither of the frameworks you mention is done and neither can be copied from macOS, because they all directly depend on IOKit kernel APIs, which are then for the better part implemented by drivers (.kexts).

Thanks Luboš! I'm not a system-level dev, but is there anything I can do to help with the project? Would love to see these items worked on, but I think the project in general is a worthy one. I'm good at writing docs. 🙂
