A brief narrative about water around a protostar 1300 light-years distant; not new news. The difference is that this source seems to closely match the chemical composition of water in comets of our solar system. A couple of links offer more info about water in space. I think the water sequence of gas clouds -> planetary discs around suns -> comets -> water on planets (a looooong process!) still allows room for Tiamat to get smashed and complete the local delivery to Earth.
Thanks!
