A tantalising prospect is emerging from new scientific discoveries in China.  A reproduction of an ancient human skull, dated to 1 million years old, presents scientists with startling new evidence.  It's been categorised within the group Homo longi or 'Dragon Man'.

So, firstly, humans may have been around on Earth twice as long as was originally thought.  Interesting...

Secondly, the five known branches of large-brained human, which largely ran concurrently for hundreds of thousands of years (Asian erectus, heidelbergensis, sapiens, Neanderthals and Homo longi (including the Denisovans)), would have had an original precursor dating back over 1 million years.

Given that this ancient skull - known as Yunxian 2 - was found in China, speculation is growing that the emergence of the human species may have begun in Asia rather than Africa:

And that brings us to link with Sitchin's work.  If the flesh-and-blood gods, or Anunnaki, set up their original colonising bases in the Mesopotamian region as he suggested, then would it not make sense for their human 'slaves' to have first been 'produced' there, on the Asian continent?  Only later would a sub-set be sent to work the gold mines of Africa.

Speculation on speculation, but it's an interesting idea to consider.

Many thanks,

There have been many anecdotal reports of links between UFO activity and the nuclear testing that took place in the 1940s and 1950s.  After a great many years, the assertion has been tested and - lo and behold - found to be sound.  The reports of transient objects observed in the sky by the Palomar telescope back then have been cross-referenced against UFO reports generally and nuclear testing events more specifically and statistically significant patterns have emerged.

I guess this story is all the more pertinent as the US contemplates restarting nuclear weapons testing after a pause of over 30 years!

Here's the abstract:

"Transient star-like objects of unknown origin have been identified in the first Palomar Observatory Sky Survey (POSS-I) conducted prior to the first artificial satellite. We tested speculative hypotheses that some transients are related to nuclear weapons testing or unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) reports. A dataset comprising daily data (11/19/49—4/28/57) regarding identified transients, nuclear testing, and UAP reports was created (n = 2,718 days). Results revealed significant (p = .008) associations between nuclear testing and observed transients, with transients 45% more likely on dates within + /- 1 day of nuclear testing.

"For days on which at least one transient was identified, significant associations were noted between total number of transients and total number of independent UAP reports per date (p = 0.015). For every additional UAP reported on a given date, there was an 8.5% increase in number of transients identified. Small but significant (p = .008) associations between nuclear testing and number of UAP reports were also noted. Findings suggest associations beyond chance between occurrence of transients and both nuclear testing and UAP reports. These findings may help elucidate the nature of POSS-I transients and strengthen empirical support for the UAP phenomenon."
