With the departure of Fleet Admiral Mark Schueler from the position of Logistics officer it is time to find someone new to take over the Wiki and everything that involves.

I am really looking for someone who can take the position and make it their own, a self starter who can perform the duties required and find new stuff that could be added to help archive the EH's history.

Position Description: The Logistics Officer (LO) leads efforts to incorporate Star Wars canon into the Emperor’s Hammer timeline, and acts as the chief archivist of Emperor’s Hammer materials. The Logistics Officer maintains the Encyclopaedia Imperia wiki as a primary repository of official materials and member-generated content not otherwise captured in official databases. The Logistics Officer also oversees maintenance and updates to the official Order of Battle, System Manual, & Fleet Manual, and validates updates to other official fleet manuals and policy documents. The Logistics Officer coordinates closely with other Command Staff officers and Group Commanders in the discharge of their duties.

Specific duties:

• Promotes member use of the Encyclopaedia Imperia by providing content guidelines and training. Leads efforts to develop and integrate new wiki content through member submissions of new and original content, and restoration of historical information. Assists members with questions concerning wiki functionality.

• Acts as chief archivist of fleet historical materials, including newsletters, news posts, official graphics, and similar materials. Works within the Internet Office to ensure backups of all materials are maintained in a redundant fashion. Prepares materials so that they are readily accessible by the membership.

• Manages the official fleet timeline and key events within the Star Wars universe, consistent with the Fleet Commander’s intent and guidance.

• Manages updates to the official fleet Order of Battle in coordination with the Fleet Commander.

• Maintains and updates the System Manual and Fleet Manual.

• Validates that official fleet manuals and policy documents are reviewed at least annually by designated officers, and are updated as needed.

• Supports other Internet Office efforts, as required.

Rank: The Logistics Officer is a supporting staff officer for the Internet Officer (IO) and must hold the minimum rank of Rear Admiral. Although organized as a part of the Internet Office, the position of LO is considered a Command Staff position. The LO may be promoted up to and including the rank of High Admiral.

The Logistics office position will be joining the COMM in becoming a sub position to the IO as I feel it best to have a unified voice for all outward EH technical appearances.
