Dear Daradia friends,
Hope you all are doing well in pain management.
This has been repeatedly discussed that learning some interventional procedures is not that difficult and it is not proper learning of pain management. When we are able to diagnose a pain syndrome properly selecting them for interventions or managing them in conservative way and able to manage it effectively…that day our learning will be complete. And we know that we all are learning…
But what is the most important resource for this learning? It is good number of different kind patients. To develop our interventional skill further, we also need proper suitable patients. And for that we need to spread awareness amongst different specialties, and awareness among general population.
Daradia want to go ahead further with all of you in this direction as well. Daradia is planning to encourage each pain physician trained from Daradia to organize CME and live workshops in their cities. This will be increasing awareness and it will be reflected in their future practice. Daradia faculty & consultants will be visiting the place to deliver lectures and conducting live workshops. Even Daradia may assist you in organizing the whole program. All interested pain physicians may contact me directly at gdas...@gmail.com with proposal.
You might be aware that Govt has allotted a big land at prime location at Kolkata to build a proper pain hospital & Research Institute. Our project has already been started. We are increasing our team of faculty & consultant from all over India and abroad. We would like to involve our Daradia Pain physicians in different research work who are having good pain practice. In Daradia we select faculties on working experience of pain practice and publications. They should give lecture from experience and not from book. So these projects are integrally related with each other.
I am also expecting that all of you will join Delhi conference in Aug and meet Prof Prithvi Raj, Prof Gabor Racz and many others. Visitwww.icipm2012.com for details.
Regards,
Dr. Gautam Das
