As salaamu alaikum Everyone 

Please read this Newsletter Carefully since it's full of information & activities you don't want to miss.

1.  Construction Update:

The name of the new masjid is..........

Bayt Al-Karim Center.  

The City of Fort Worth has given us a deadline of April 11, 2019 to complete the project & occupy the building OR we may be held liable for 3 years of property taxes, interest & penalties.  

*Current fundraising goal is $220,000* 

Please donate generously at http://www.dncfw.org/donate. 

Mail your check to: 5747 Westcreek Drive, Fort Worth, TX76133

Drop your cash in the donation boxes in the masjid.

IAFW is an IRS approved 501(C)(3) non-profit organization, so your donation is tax deductible.  

2.  Community Yard Sale: 

THIS Friday, 10/26/18

4347 Altamesa Blvd., FW. TX 76133 

Donate your new or gently used items by Thursday afternoon.  Go thru your closets & if there's anything you haven't used in a year, it might be time to donate it.  

This yard sale is HOSTED by the IAFW WOMEN'S COMMITTEE with the goal of paying for 1 AC unit ($5000) for Bayt Al-Karim inshaAllah.  Help us reach this goal!!

3. Family Night: (see flyer)

THIS FRIDAY, 10/26/18 at 6:50pm.  

Bring your family, friends & a dish to share & join us insha Allah. Divide your dish between men & women.

4. Annual Winter Drive for the Homeless:

Our annual winter drive for the homeless in Fort Worth is going on right now.  If you'd like to donate gloves, hats, coats, jackets, sweaters, hoodies, blankets or sleeping bags, bring it along either to Jumma prayer OR to the family night THIS FRIDAY.  They will be distributed THIS SUNDAY, 10/28/18 insha Allah.  

5.  Friday Food Sales: 

The food sold every Friday is sponsored by different families each week so it doesn't cost the masjid anything but ALL the money made from sales goes directly to the masjid. You can help by: BUYING what's for sale (this one's the easiest), providing supplies, or sponsoring/cooking for a Friday. Talk to any one in the Women's Committee if you'd like to help out.

6.  Family Game Night:  Wednesday, 10/31/18 (see flyer)

Fun for the whole family from 5pm - 9pm 

Games, lecture by Imam Sajid, pizza, goody bags & just family all around.

All ladies & youth are welcome.  We encourage you to join us with your ideas, positive attitude & willingness to help.

~Friday, 11/9/18 @ 7:30pm: CAIR Emergency Know Your Rights Workshop  (see flyer)
