Message from Imam Sajid on Eternal Creed:

As salaamu alaikum All

I'm excited to announce the following class that will be conducted in our masjid next month Insha Allah!

This class will cover the entire book of Imam Tahawi's Aqidah at-Tahawiyya by Shaykh Humza Maqbul who has traveled all over the world teaching this very class.  

Aqidah is a very essential science for every believer to learn properly, especially as we are facing many theological attacks on our faith.  This class will cover what it means to be a believer in Islam & answerquestions that we may have in regards to what belief in Islam entails.  

I hope we all can take advantage of this rare opportunity to learn such an intefral text with a very learned scholar, Shaykh Humza himself.  

Registration is now open at an extremely reasonable cost.  Please see the flyer for details & make sure to register as soon as possible as the early bird price will end in a few weeks.

Masjid Donations:

Donate just $20 a week = $80 a month = $1000 a year for operating expenses of the current masjid on Westcreek Dr.  

Construction Update from Br. Abdul Guffar Khan:

We have been making progress on the new masjid construction through the summer alhumdulillah using the money raised thus far.  Unfortunately, we are now running low on funds for the construction!!

If we do not get any more significant donations in the immediate future, construction will stop by the end of this month.  

If we dont get creative & work hard together, this project could take 2 years or more to complete.  

Currently, we are also looking for people to give the masjid a loan, to be returned after the construction is completed insha Allah.  

If 40 people loan us $10, 000 each, we can complete the project by the end of the year Insha Allah.

Please review the loan agreement attached & do your very best to help find people that are willing to help.

The Holy Quran uses the word"Qarz Hasanah" or "Beautiful loan to Allah"

 [مَّن ذَا الَّذِى يُقْرِضُ اللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا فَيُضَاعِفَهُ لَهُ]

Who is he that will lend Allah a beautiful loan: then (Allah) will increase it manifold to his credit.
