Sister Dada will be co-ordinating our Family Iftaars every week.  Please contact her at (817) 501-5114 if you would like to participate in providing iftaar for any of the Fridays.

We also have a sign up sheet at the entry of the masjid if you would like to provide iftaar for any other day during Ramadaan.

The Prophet Muhammed S.A.W. said: "This is the month of charity in which believer's sustenance is increased. Whosoever feeds a fasting person or gives a fasting person a single date or a sip of water, to break the fast, for him there shall be forgiveness of his sins & he will be saved from the fire of hell, and for him shall be the same reward as for him (whom he fed). "
Tirmidhi Hadith 1965

Ramadaan Rules:

We estimate that there will be approximately 200 people each Friday iftaar Insha Allah.

**  NO eating in the prayer areas!!  We now have designated eating areas for both men & women so NO eating in the prayer areas!!

** Please Do NOT waste water.  If you've opened a water bottle, finish it OR take it home with you.

**  Ladies/Men with small kids: If your child/ren are being disruptive during salaat or lecture, please move them to another area as a courtesy to others & as a teaching moment for your little one.

** No talking in the prayer areas during salaat or when any lecture is being given.  It is rude to the speaker AND disrespectful to your fellow musallees who are trying to listen. If you would like to talk, please move to one of the other rooms where you will not disturb those trying to pray/listen.

** Since it's summer vacations, please be careful & keep your kids with you.  Do not allow them to play unsupervised in the masjid or outside in the parking lot.  This is FOR THEIR OWN SAFETY.

For those providing meals:

** The group providing the meals will be responsible for setting up before, serving & clean up after.

**  Dates, Water & Paper Goods will be provided by the musjid on all 4 Fridays, however if you plan to have Iftaar in the masjid on any other day, you will be responsible for providing the Paper Goods.

** No Sodas Please, Only Water (small bottles preferable to avoid waste) !!!!

** Please ensure that the food you bring is Zabiha Halal

** Food must be in the musjid by 8 pm

** To break fast, we suggest dates & water to break fast, followed by the full meal after maghrib salaah.

Let's all work together to make this the BEST Ramadaan EVER Insha Allah!!!
