On a most likely fake quote

There's a quote going around that goes " The wound is the place where the Light enters you".

Although I realize it sounds absolutely self-help - do you know if it might be derived from an actual Rumi quote?

This is a distorted interpretation by Coleman Barks of a verse from Rumi's Masnavi:

Since the origin of his interpretation was Nicholson's scholarly translation, Barks knew that the healing ray came from the Sufi Master [pīr], but he changed it

to mean the healing ray of the "Light."
