This is the first episode of a projected eleven made for Turkish television. It has English subtitles. I'm told that the second episode with English subtitles is not yet available. It is very well done. The words spoken by the actor who plays Rumi are not translations or paraphrases from his works, nor are these intended to be such, but the screen writers have done a reasonably good job in presenting his words as spiritually elevated.
It begins with the Mongol general, Baju's attack on a castle in Erzurum near Konya, and depicts a middle-aged Rumi as being very worried about premonitions of the coming invasion.
