When the World Needed Science Journalism the Most, SJF Came Into Existence!
In April 2020, as the COVID-19 pandemic swept across the globe, half the world found itself locked down. In the face of uncertainty and fear, the public craved reliable information and education about science more than ever. Yet, at this critical moment, science journalists faced significant challenges, struggling to combat the "infodemic" of misinformation.
In response to this pressing need, the Science Journalism Forum (SJF) emerged and quickly established itself as the largest and most diverse global virtual event of its kind!
