thanksthanks.. mind sharing the work shop address.. i am still tinking if there is other brand mini van better as what i see now is fiat is much nicer than any in the market now lol =) ur is 1.3 or 1.9?
TS, are you buying for personal use? Not worth getting Doblo lah, as i check sgcarmart the dep for Doblo is about 4.5 to 5k. With this type of dep it is better to get a used budget car like swift or verna etc...U can drive with a piece of mind in lane 1.
I am guessing either something in the catch mechanism has broken or there is something snagging the catch. I can get inside. Do I just pull the black plastic trim off the inside of the boot door and look for a cable or is there another option.
what year is it? we have two doblos. 2009 one is in the garage as we speak with the same problem. three parts, the latch, the handle and the white plastic clips that hold the rod in the handle to the latch. door card is held on with 3 x bolts.
Thanks again, both of those items are easy to find. I did pop the top three off and they went back in but I cannot actually recall what type of clip it was :-) I will have a look again later in the week when the weather has settled.
Was the light on when it came in to you? Is the Doblo anything like the Fiat 500 where the TPMS reset is in the dash menus? Had a couple of tpms issues recently. one being a CR-V which we couldn't cure, the other being a Hyundai i20. That one came on after doing tyres. Tried everything to get it to go out, no reset button, so drove it miles and light stayed on. Scanned it and got some bizarre readings, thought something had corrupted. Put tyre pressure up to 38, reversed out of workshop, drove down the road, tapped the cruise control and it went out. No idea whether we had to over inflate them, or whether activating cruise did it, but its worked. Hopefully something simple like that will fix yours Must be a Fiat expert on here somewhere..
Yes on Peugeot for example you sometimes need to inflate over 38psi then drive it for min of 10 minutes above 30mph to trigger the TPMS system to recognise the tyres are inflated. You sometimes also need a "wand" to wave over the valves to trigger them but this is when you fit new valves and sensors to the wheel. You may need to plug it in to a proper fiat diagnostics to see why it wont reset.
