VS: WOF OTHELLO TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION - Important information!

Kære Othello-spillere,

 

Benkt Steentoft fra WOF har sendt denne invitation til at deltage i en online-turnering for hold fra 31.juli til 11.december.

Meld gerne snarest tilbage, om du kunne tænke dig at deltage.

Benkt skal have besked om, hvilke hold Danmark stiller med allerede på onsdag den 12. maj.

 

Så kan jeg lige nævne, at DM lørdag den 11. september på Ubby Bibliotek er på plads. Foromtale af arrangementet vil lige som i 2019 finde sted i bibliotekets katalog.

Forhåbentlig vil mange møde op til den første fysiske voksenturnering i lang tid, nemlig Greve Othello Cup lørdag den 12. juni i Aktivhuset Olsbækken.

Men noter også at der lørdag den 22. maj afholdes junior-DM i Greve.

Så hvis I kender nogen Othello-interesserede juniorer må I endelig give beskeden videre.

It seems that not everyone gets the emails sent from @worldothello.org. 
So I also resend it from this account! So sorry if you get it twice!

Good news!

We are planning to organize an Othello Team tournament online in the
autumn!
Therefor we need you to help us and answer the question at
https://forms.gle/4Z4FDPcaMBtvSMKd9. Please answer latest 2021-05-12.

The Team Masters will be held online, at www.vint.ee.
It starts 31st July and ends with a final 11th December.

Each Othello confederation will organize qualification groups. If all
WOF members join it can be over 50 national teams in the Team
tournament!
The 16 teams who qualify from each confederation from the 1st
qualification goes to 2nd qualification.
The two best from each group go to quarterfinals, semifinals and a final
match.

The team tournament will be between 31st July and 11th December.
It will be between 3-8 matches in total for all teams, depending on how
far in the masters your team goes.
Each team uses 4 players in each match. It is 4 games per player in each
match.
Time for each game will be 20-30 minutes per player.

More information will be sent out to all federations latest 31st May.
The official registration will be sent out then.

pre-register your federation interest to join the WOTM 2021!
This is a pre-registration only, to know how many teams it may be, so we
can work how to organize it.
Please help us and pre-register so we can plan this real good!

Hej! 

12 maj behöver WOF en pre-registrering, så att vi kan planera hur turneringen ska genomföras. 
Den 10 juli görs lottningen till alla grupper. det hela kommer fungera som VM-kval till fotbolls VM.

Vi hoppas att Danmark vill vara med! I slutet av maj kommer den riktiga inbjudan till turneringen! 
Sverige, Norge och Finland har anmält sig! KOm ed ni också!

detta är en del av Othello 50 år celebration. Och även en turnering istället för WOC 2021 som är inställt pgav Covid.
