Hi

We are searching for a host family for a Danish 15 year old boy. Marius is an outgoing, smart and well-liked kid. His greatest wish is to spend a year as an exchange student in the US. At this time he is desperate to find a family and hereby this message that hopefully would spark your interest becoming a host family.

Having an exchange student in your home is much like having an adopted teenage son or daughter. Students from the organization World Heritage expect and want to be treated as a member of the family, enjoying the privileges as well as assuming the duties. This entails full participation in the day-to-day activities of your family such as household chores, leisure time and recreation. Your World Heritage student wants to learn about your country as a "native", not as a guest. No financial requests other that a host family can feed and host an extra family member. Exchange students are fully insured at arrival.

To get more information about being a host family visit their website located at world-heritage.org where you can apply online or contact their office in CA
World Heritage Head Office
277 Lower Cliff Drive, Laguna Beach, CA 92651
Tel: (949) 342-1777, Toll Free: (800) 888-9040
Email: in...@world-heritage.org
Both Student and Host Family will have a local contact - so you won't be left alone.

If you are considering opening your home to Marius, please contact World Heritage ASAP as US Department Of State has set a deadline August 31st. All paperwork, approvals (criminal check, etc.) must be finalized and a written acceptance from host family and school must be in the hands of World Heritage no later than this date. Otherwise an exchange student cannot enter the US

If you need further information about Marius, don't hesitate to contact Marius or the family: familien....@yahoo.dk. Below is a short introduction and a full intro letter is located here
