The Danish Immigrant Museum in Elk Horn, Iowa www.danishmuseum.org is planning a luncheon open to all members of the Danish/American community on February 11 at the Crowne Plaza Foster City, 1211 Chess Drive in Foster City, CA at 1:00 p.m. February 11. Attached please find invitations suitable for printing and distribution to members and associates within your Danish American organizations.
We hope you will take the opportunity to attend this event along with friends and members of your organizations. During the luncheon, you will hear about Museum projects and activities, our outreach efforts and how we strive to "bring together" Danish/American groups around the United States, along with comments from Bay Area Danish/American organization leaders.
There are two invitations on the attached pdf, making it convenient for printing and distribution. And we encourage you to distribute this invitation electronically to your organization's email lists.
We are asking for RSVP confirmation to Terri Johnson at the Museum at 800-759-9192 or email at dk...@metc.net. We are asking that attendees mail the $35 fee in advance to the Museum to expedite entrance on the day of the event.
