I REALLY liked this one (which I know is not really new), but what can I do? He keeps them coming, and I keep them "forwarding". It is so wonderful to "over the hump, and resting in the victory I know to be forthcoming. It is actually all the sweeter, because only through faith could I be so confident in the victory that is coming. Without faith, I would be worrying myself sick! Thank God for faith!

Love, in Christ,

Daniel

Over Jordan with Singing

Thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee. (Deuteronomy 33:29)

That archenemy, the devil, is a liar from the beginning; but he is so very plausible that, like mother Eve, we are led to believe him. Yet in our experience we shall prove him a liar.

He says that we shall fall from grace, dishonor our profession, and perish with the doom of apostates; but, trusting in the Lord Jesus, we shall hold on our way and prove that Jesus loses none whom His Father gave Him. He tells us that our bread will fail, and we shall starve with our children; yet the Feeder of the ravens has not forgotten us yet, and He will never do so, but will prepare us a table in the presence of our enemies.

He whispers that the Lord will not deliver us Out of the trial which is looming in the distance, and he threatens that the last ounce will break the camel's back. What a liar he is! For the Lord will never leave us or forsake us. "Let him deliver him now!" cries the false fiend: but the Lord will silence him by coming to our rescue.

He takes great delight in telling us that death will prove too much for us. "How wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan?" But there also he shall prove a liar unto us, and we shall pass through the river singing psalms of glory.

Psalm 124:7 Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.

Want to listen to the whole Psalm on Real Player? If so, go here:

Still enjoying eating, and trusting God to do exceeding abundantly beyond all that we can ask or think. I have no idea what to expect tonight, but the Private School is having their Christ-x (They call it X-mas) program tonight. I wonder if the Lord would have me there. If they need a "Saint Nicholas", I sure do have the beard! (Have been letting it grow for "a while" ;]). I would even be willing to sing a SONG OR TWO, (or many more), if it was the Lord's will. I wait on him.

Love, in Christ,

Daniel Robbins

So, am I still calling on God, and people of God, for international revival? Yep! Here is a great sermon to get us "pumped up":

Well, I did not wind up showing up at the event, and I am still "laying low". Please continue to pray and praise with me, as I do this. A verse that was given to me by an older counsellor over the phone was Exodus 14:14 "The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace." I receive that, as very wise counsel from God. I did "take some action" yesterday, which I do believe was of God - but I also believe God is saying, "That is enough for now - let me take it from here." Therefore, I will. That, of course, and continue to pray and praise for THE victory, which I KNOW by FAITH is "coming down the pike." And, by the way, I am calling on God and believing him for INTERNATIONAL REVIVAL. Why? Because that, in my opinion, is the obvious thing to ask and believe God for. What think ye (i.e. "What do ye (you) think?") Let's just say, I know the CONTEXT of Exodus 14:14 more than amply encourages me to continue "stepping it up" by faith and praise, in the Spirit, and wait on God for an act we have not seen in a LONG time. Ye can read it here (by the way, "ye" is just the plural subjective second-person counterpart of the plural objective second-person "you"):

You see, Pharaoh kept on hardening his heart, as I have said - and that just meant greater and greater deliverance, and spoiling of the enemy in the end! Exodus 14 was the ULTIMATE example of this principle. Not only had Pharaoh hardened his heart 10 times - he even changed his mind after the children of Israel had departed! The Israelites said, "Oh no!" But God was in heaven, saying, "Oh yes! Say, 'Bye-bye!' to Pharaoh and his host! Ye shall see them again NO MORE, FOR EVER!" Therefore, seeing the enemy CONTINUES to harden his heart, I CONTINUE to get more and more PUMPED, and anticipate GREATER AND GREATER, and MIGHTIER AND MIGHTIER things, which I know not (see Jeremiah 33:3). This IS a "cannot lose if we tried" battle. Come on, saints, and get on the winning team! Let's take this all the way, and be utterly amazed. We are standing on the doorstep of "history before it happen'eth'"! Hallelujah!

Remember: "Praise ye the LORD! His mercy endures for ever and ever!
Praise ye the LORD! His mercy endures for ever and ever!
Praise ye the LORD! His mercy endures for ever and ever!
Praise ye the LORD our God! His mercy... will never end!"

And here is the "story behind the song":

http://www.blueletterbible.org/kjv/2Ch/2Ch020.html#top

In my case, it is the enemy coming to "rip me off" and rob me of the four months of teaching MY CHILDREN, remaining on my contract. Who is he to tell me I cannot praise the LORD with my children? Who is he to say I cannot touch them in a loving, compassionate, and righteous manner? I rest my case with my judge: God.

Daniel (by the way, "Daniel" means "God is my judge" ;))
