The fire just got hotter...

The fire just got hotter! Good thing the Son of God is walking with me
in the midst of the flames. Here comes "Christmas", and it is "time" to
pick songs to teach the children for the upcoming event. I want to
thank all you conservative believers out there for helping me realize
the serious problem with much of the popular music of today. I rejected
a Beatles song, a Spice Girls song, and a third - which is pop song
about a boy madly in love with a girl (if not vise versa). I am 100%
unwilling to do any of these songs. The school has made it clear they
do not want any religious songs, so Silent Night, etc. are not options,
as things stand. Please pray for my supervisor, Diane. She is not an
evil woman, but she is making some considerable mistakes. One of them
was threatening to fire me yesterday. I am prepared to propose either
"Jehoshaphat", or that I be excused from the event. I taught my evening
classes differently yesterday - as if they were my last classes. I like
teaching that way much better!

By the way, I signed my last message: "Lover". Why? Because I like
Steve's Bell's insight, that - when all is said and done - it is a
"lover's world". In his song, "Keeping Vigil", he explains the concept
beautifully.
