This is not one of my best days. In fact, I would call it one of my worst, in all honesty. I know it has been a while, but I stayed home on All Saints' Day (10/31) because I was too sick to come in. Since then, I have been fighting to recover from a number of ailments: tonsilitis, a very sore neck, and bronchitis. Today, however, something else has happened, which no man ever wants to happen to him. I refuse to use the expressions, "Would have" or "Should have", etc. I simply call on Almighty God to look upon my affliction, and comfort me in this thorny, excruciatingly painful and frustrating world. I know Jesus has his bad days, too. Furthermore, not only did he give gifts that were not well received (like I did), he WAS the gift that was not well received! He was God's only begotten Son - given for the world, and we crucified him! I am sure glad to know the gloom of that "bad day" gave birth to life from the dead for evermore. I pray for a similar outcome in my situation, in Jesus' almight name, amen! The joy of the Lord IS my strength, and I WILL rejoice.
Lover,
Daniel
