Senior BI Developer (MicroStrategy & MS BI)
Location: Charlotte, NC 28202 OR Denver, CO 80202 (Onsite – 5 Days a Week)--Candidates must be local 
Job Type: Contract (W2 Candidates Only – Minimum 12 Months Validity Required)

Work Authorization: Independent candidates who can work on W2 without sponsorship

Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior BI Developer with strong experience in MicroStrategy, Microsoft BI technologies, and SQL to support enterprise reporting and data visualization initiatives within a large-scale cybersecurity technology environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and developing interactive dashboards, BI reports, and data visualization solutions that help drive business insights and operational improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong experience in BI report development and data visualization.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical BI solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and BI reports using MicroStrategy and MS BI tools.
  • Configure and manage data connections across BI platforms.
  • Design and implement advanced data visualizations and proof-of-concept BI solutions.
  • Support data analysis and troubleshooting by querying databases using SQL.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Manage BI server content and user access where required.
  • Conduct training sessions and documentation for BI tools and reporting solutions.
  • Participate in Agile development processes and support ongoing reporting enhancements.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts effectively through documentation and presentations.
