Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of mobile application development experience.
• Strong experience with Ionic Framework and Angular.
• Proficiency in native iOS development using Swift.
• Hands-on experience with Xcode, iOS SDK, and CocoaPods.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and JSON.
• Knowledge of mobile architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM).
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of the Apple App Store submission process.

 

Job Summary

Client is seeking an Ionic / iOS Developer on behalf of our client in Washington, DC. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for both iOS and cross-platform environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with the Ionic Framework (Angular) and native iOS development using Swift, along with a solid understanding of mobile architecture and deployment processes.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop cross-platform mobile applications using Ionic Framework (Angular).
• Build and maintain native iOS applications using Swift and Xcode.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and external services.
• Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, high-performance applications.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in development and production.
• Manage Apple App Store deployments, including provisioning profiles and certificates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Optimize applications for speed, responsiveness, and scalability.
