Hi friends! 

It has been quite awhile since I have talked to many of you - hope you are doing well! For those of you I have talked to recently - hey again! For those of you who were on my last email because you are on the Hot Metal email lists too - sorry, you can delete this email. 

I am reaching out to everyone today to ask for your help in a personal fundraiser I am doing to raise money for the PA Breast Cancer Coalition. The fundraising page will be open until October 30th. I am collecting funds to make a donation in honor of my amazing aunt who we lost to breast cancer 2 years ago. Soon after she passed, I decided to grow out my hair to donate to Pantene Beautiful Lengths. After more thought, I decided to make it into a fundraiser by setting a fundraising goal for myself and if I reach my goal of $6,000, I will shave my head to raise awareness. 

If you are interested in donating or reading more about my aunt, please visit my page! I know a lot of you are in grad school so please don't feel obligated to donate. However, if you are inspired to donate or are also affected in some by the disease, I would greatly appreciate even $5! Every little bit counts. Also, if you would like to share my page with close friends or family who know someone or who was personally affected by the disease, I would greatly appreciate your help in spreading the word!
